Master Aruna

Master Aruna, niece to Guruma Sugatha Kumari Andiappan, wife of Guruji Andiappan, grew up training in the Andiappan Yoga discipline since she was four years old. She completed her diploma, post-graduate diploma, Bachelor's and Masters Degrees in Yogic Science and Naturopathy at Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University.

Master Aruna has been teaching with Guruma Andiappan for many years. She currently serves as a Yoga Master and Course Manager at Asana Andiappan College of Yoga and Research Centre. She has won many state level and national level yoga championships, and also writes about yoga and women's health for Asana International Yoga Journal.

During her spare time, Master Aruna enjoys singing yoga songs, notably composed by Guruji, and playing the keyboards.
